Saturday 23. 01. 16 Got back from Martin and Beryl’s yesterday afternoon. Had a great visit with them and also saw Roy and Suzette. Went to an excellent expo at the National Gallery on Monet at Argenteuil.

Friday 15. 01. 2016 Just back from a week in Cuba with the family. We all had a great time and the weather and the ocean were perfect.

Tuesday 22. 12. 15 Did my first drawing in a new series of views from the 506 Carlton car. I will probably paint or add colour either with pencils or oils sticks to these drawings which are on mylar.
Back in town
Tuesday 22. 12. 15 Back in Toronto for Christmas. This is an oil pastel that I did when I was here earlier in the year. I am now working on a series of drawings of the views from the 506 Carlton streetcar.

Monday 07. 12. 15 Worked a bit more on the Valletta painting. I’m hoping to finish it before I go to Toronto for Christmas.

London
Wednesday 02. 12. 15 Just back from a week in London. Saw the Ai Weiwei show at the RA, The Calder at the Tate Modern and the Auerbach at the Tate Britain which was a disappointment. I think the highlights were the Peter Lanyon show at the Courtauld and The Celts at the British Museum. Also did a couple of London Walks, the London Eye and saw Maggie Smith in The Lady in the Van. A busy week!
