Wednesday 25. 03. 20 Another couple of small oils on paper in the series.

Tuesday 24. 03. 20 Worked on this today.

Monday 23. 03. 20 I painted the Allée in oil on brown paper this afternoon and I think that I prefer this to the watercolour. I also painted Le Clemontais in the same way.

Sunday 22. 03. 20 Have started a new series of paintings of the local empty landscape. I did the same one yesterday as an oil pastel but that didn’t work out and I’m not sure about this watercolour. I’m going to do a small oil sketch tomorrow on tinted paper.

Monday 16. 03. 20 A very overcast day here and nothing open so spent the morning cleaning up the studio and then worked on this in the afternoon. Will have to something about those clouds!

Sunday 15. 03. 20 Went to see if Les Négociants was open this morning and found everything closed due to the virus . Came home and did a new Franglais and then decided to welcome this as an opportunity to spend more time in the studio.

Friday 06. 03. 20 Another animated Franglais group this morning.

Thursday 05. 03. 20 I did this painting today of the new Whitton Library to celebrate getting an exhibition there of the paintings that I did for my book A Place. More details to come.

Monday 02. 03. 20 This is a small painting of the first studio that I had outside my house. It is in the Toronto Annex. new press had the house and my studio was what was a storefront at bottom left. A long time ago! 1969!

Saturday 29. 02. 20 Today we have an extra day. Did another Franglais drawing based on our discussion yesterday on the meaning of colour in the French flag. Sparkles looked on.
