Edinburgh
Wednesday 11. 09. 13 Just back from 4 days in Edinburgh. Went for the Doig show at Scottish National Gallery which was excellent. Edinburgh is an interesting city and very compact so easy to get around. Lots of history and surprisingly lots of contemporary art.

Monday 02. 09. 13 I liked this view of the pool at night. Today started new large canvas of Wood Lake.

Sunday 01. 09. 13 Did a couple more small paintings here today. I am finding it difficult to get back into plein air painting again. Lots of decisions!

Thursday 29. 08. 13 Finally got back to painting directly from nature this afternoon. It to0k a while but I am quite pleased with the immediacy of this one. I am house sitting the Mas Bellevue this week so hopefully I can try a few more.

Friday 26. 07. 13 Visited the 2013 city of European Culture for a couple of days. Highlights were the MuCEM, Fort St Jean, Palais Longchamp and half of the Grand Atelier du Midi show. Will do the other half of the expo in Aix en Provence next week.
St Medard en Jalles
Monday 15. 07. 13 Spent the weekend with our “French” family. As always, a fabulous time – good food, good wine, lots of stories and much laughter.
