Tuesday 13. 09. 16 Decided to do a small painting today an 8 x 10 of  the Cave Co-operative de Clermont.

Monday 12. 09. 16 Finished the first La Vendange and then started on this early morning one today.

Friday 09. 09. 16 It is that time of year again.

 

Thursday 08.09. 16 I recently read that Valasquez died on this day in 1660 and Andy and I share it as a birthday so I decided to celebrate with a triptych self-portrait in our various styles.

 

Saturday 03. 09. 16 Did this one this afternoon. It is part of a triptych self-portrait.

 

Friday 02. 09. 16 Finally finished this altho may revisit in a couple of days.

 

Thursday 01. 09. 16 Spent the day with George and Laurene at the Turner show in Aix en Provence. An excellent, well curated show with a number of paintings that I had not seen before – Turner was indeed ahead of his time. Had a tasty lunch outside and then picked up a dessert of ice cream and strawberry and passion fruit jam sprinkled with granola on the street – delicious!
