Saturday 28. 06. 14 Did another set of monoprints using dried flowers. Did poppies this time which unfortunately changed colour during the pressing and drying process. The broom retained their colour better altho they were duller too after drying and pressing.

AussiesLoRes

Sunday 15. 06. 14 This is the first painting I have done since my return to France. It is based on a photo I took of a pair of dirty Blundstone boots left on the steps of a bakery whilst the owner went in to buy some bread. Very Australian – full of character, independent, practical and courteous.

Beach

Meze

Thursday 12. 06. 14 Today rode to the beach for the first time this summer. Besides the pleasure of riding the scooter again the beach was uncrowded and the water was warm.
