Friday 22. 01. 21 This is the base drawing for the first in my new monoprint series inspired by the writings of Jean Giono.

Monday 18. 01. 21 The market is pretty sparse these days what with it being winter and the virus.

Monday 11. 01. 21 It is quite cool today so did this small still life in the kitchen. I have ordered a portable heater for the studio but it won’t be here until Thursday!

Friday 08. 01. 21 I think that I have a new project. I am reading Que Ma Joie Demeure by Jean Giono and I’m hoping to do a set of monoprints based on the book and archival photos.

Monday 04. 01. 21 Finished this portrait of Maureen this afternoon. I am hoping to give it to Arch House as a memorial of Maureen and all the happy years that she spent there.

Thursday 31. 12. 20 Did this small painting of the hyacinths and worked on a portrait of Maureen and myself.

Tuesday 29. 12. 20 My Hyacinths have come into bloom and their scent is wafting gently through the kitchen reminding me that Spring is out there somewhere.

Saturday 26. 12. 20 Enjoyed a socially distanced, tasty, vegetarian, Christmas dinner chez Dot & John together with George & Laurene yesterday. In the evening Zoomed with the family in Toronto.

Thursday 24. 12. 20 Decided I needed a tree to complete my Christmas in France this year so made this for my dining table out of foamcore.
