Thursday 02. 09. 21 I had started this oil pastel about a month ago but had forgotten about it. I finished it today. It shows the Wisteria by Le Terminus hotel in Clermont.

Sunday 29. 08. 21 This is an oil pastel of the cathedral based on a photo that I took recently when I went to Beziers to have dinner with Dot & John.

Wednesday 25. 08. 21 Went over to the Carrières de Lumières in Les Baux today with Jacqui and her friends. This year it was an excellent and inspiring expo of Cézanne and Kandinsky. Well worth as visit.

Saturday 07. 08. 21 Yesterday was my 80th birthday which I celebrated in the morning with my Franglais group and in the evening with all my friends at the guinguette near Maddy & David’s. A very festive day!

Tuesday 03. 08. 21 Went to Beziers this evening with Jacqui to see the lights.

Saturday 31. 07. 21 Picked up my new e bike today and am looking forward to riding it around here.

Wednesday 28. 07. 21 This beautiful cushion cover arrived from Julia today to celebrate my 80th birthday. Thank you Julia.

Wednesday 14. 07.21 This evening there was a rock concert and fireworks in the square by the church.

Friday 09. 07. 21 Went to Franglais this morning and then rode over to the bridge in Canet where I watched the tour. I was surprised that my French friends showed little interest in the tour and was also surprised at how quickly the peloton passed by!!

Sunday 04. 07. 21 Decided I needed a change so have been playing with watercolours all day. This is one of three that I did today.
